Character Creation
In Titan 4030 the character’s possess stats that determine their options or what amount needs to be rolled in order to be successful. To calculate each of these stats use the following guidance and calculations:
- Each player has 30 points to spend across the Strength, Dexterity, Wits, and Will attributes.
- No attribute may be more then 10.
- Based on the final values of points invested in each attribute will determine how many points are available for Skills and Techniques.
Attribute Calculations
- Health
- The overall amount of health that the character has and a measurement of their vitality.
Health = Strength x 6
- Knockout Threshold
- The amount of health where the character is considered knocked out or unconscious.
Knockout = 10 - Will
- Death Threshold
- The amount of negative life that will determine if a character has been slain.
Death Threshold = 0 - Strength
- Defense
- The value a opponent must roll in order to hit the character and deal damage to them.
Defense = 3 + Wits
- Initiative
- The additional value which is added to a roll of 2d6 when a scene requiring turn order begins.
Initiative = 2 x Dexterity
Skill Points Calculation
To determine how many points a character will have to invest in Skill levels, take their Wits and multiply it by 2, with each Skill costing one point to obtain. Skills can be invested in up to a total of 5 before reaching the maximum limit.
Skill Points = Wits x 2, Skills Max at 5
Technique Points Calculation
To calculate how many points a character has available to spend on techniques take their Will and divide it by 2, rounding up in the case of a remainder after division. Each level in a Technique costs one point to obtain with a maximum of seven points available.
Technique Points = Will / 2, Round Up if needed
